Barn Guest House
The project brief from our client was to convert a disused, dilapidated barn on their land in Buckland into a self–contained guest house, using the original structure of the barn.
Located within a Conservation Area, near to a listed building and overlooking a graveyard, the site is in a highly sensitive location.
These images show our response to the brief; a contemporary approach to the barn conversion, incorporating large areas of glazing and vertical timber elements mirroring the surrounding woodland.
Our application for Planning Permission and Conservation Area Consent was successful.
