Although the land is considered to be “open countryside”, it is also within a village, and was not considered to be “isolated” for the purposes of what was then NPPF paragraph 55 (now NPPF paragraph 79).  This house was instead permitted because of the weight given to the particular mobility needs of the client, which it was designed to address.
